The roll was called shorin, the full Board present. The reccinp of the minutes was dispenseC with. Owing to the overcrowded condition of the Council Chamber, on motion of Trustee L. S. Wilkinson seconder. by Trustee Fred. W. Young and carried, a recess was taken to the schoolhouse to properly brine; the matter of a method of fixing the property lines alon, the bey before the public. Rressly to again take up with the Railray Company in regard to putting the strip in shape for improving, and see if something cannot be corked out along; that line. The communication from Advertisin,_ L.anager, Harry Welch recommending that the City take a page of aVverti^ina, in the Long Beech Press Telegram about December )lst, ras read, and on motion of Trustee Harry H. Williamson seconded by Trustee L. S. Wilkinson and carried, the recommendation was approved en.: the space to be ordered. The request of R. J. Briscoe for exemption of-taxes next year on Lot 15, Block 1, East Newport, was referre^ to the City Assessor. The communication from Harry D. Riley, Treasurer of the Orange County Harbor Developement Association thanking the City for the remittance sent for harbor developement was filed. Williamson moved that RESOLUi'IOZ NO• 357 entitled: "A Resolution overrKing protests in the matter of the improvement of certain portions of South Promenade and other streets in Section 5, Balboa Island ;ithin the City of 'ewport Beach ", be adopted, which motion was seconded by Trustee Fred W.
