A. ROLL CALL.
1. Report from Executive Assistant
Citizens'

regarding proposed CITIZENS' REPORTER -
Reporter/
for October /November, 1985, was
Oct- Nov'85
presented.

The City Manager advised that the City
Council had been given two versions of
the Citizens' Reporter for review; one
dealing with the City's public library
audio visual section and the Parks,
Beaches and Recreation Fall Season, and
the other pertaining to the John Wayne
Airport Agreement.
Council Member Strauss indicated he was
not in favor of the proposed article
regarding John Wayne Airport Agreement
at this time, inasmuch as the agreement
has not yet been fully executed by all
entities. He stated that if the Council
does approve the article as submitted,
he would like to suggest alternative
language.
Council Member Plummer stated that even
though the Airport Agreement has not
been officially executed, it has been
agreed to by all entities, and
therefore, she had no objections to the
•
article as written.
Council Member Heather indicated she
felt the airport article was factual and
important that the public receive notice
of it, particularly regarding the number
of noisy flights.
Council Member Cox stated that, in his
opinion, the article regarding the
Parka, Beaches and Recreation Fall
Season would be more beneficial to the
public at this time.

2. The meeting was adjourned to closed
Airport
session at 4:25 p.m. to discuss pending
Litigation
litigation involving the proposed
expansion of John Wayne Airport.
