Newport Coast, CA 92657 P.0 No. 0420-2018 ENGINEERS FIELD REPORT This is certify that we asked to performed a second on-site engineering inspection on August 22, 2018 in response to your departments request. The inspection included the viewing of a new shear wall located on Line 2 between Line B and C. The completed additional shear wall was observed to be in the proper location and constructed with 2" edge nailing, blocking between shear wall and floor sheathing, and holdowns as specified in our additional drawing Plan S-3. It is my professional opinion that all the work viewed, appeared to have been completed according to our stamped and signed plans and calculations. As engineer of record for the project, I certify that the work inspected for this shear wall satisfies my design specifications and complies with the structural require-ments of the 2016 CBC.
