RE: Supplemental GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING INVESTIGATION
- Proposed Residential Development - Located at 3621 Sausalito
Drive, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, California
Dear Mr. Edwards:
Pursuant to your request, this firm has performed a Supplemental Geotechnical
Engineering Investigation for the above referenced project. The purpose of this
investigation was to further evaluate the geotechnical conditions of the subject
site and to provide supplemental recommendations for the proposed residential
development, as requested in the City of Newport Beach Review Checklist dated
April 30, 2015 (attached). This soils engineering report presents the findings of
our study along with conclusions and recommendations for development.
1.0 STRUCTURAL CONSIDERATIONS
1.1 Proposed Development
It is proposed to construct a new single family home on the parcel.
Construction is anticipated to woodframe and 2 -stories over basement level
under a portion of the structure. Grading for the development will include
cut and fill procedures.
