Cultural Arts Grants
The Cultural Arts Division approved completion reports/grant applications from:
Newport Beach Film Festival
Baroque Music Festival of Corona del Mar
Southland Opera
Festival Ballet Theatre
South Coast Repertory Theater
ExplorOcean/Newport Harbor Nautical Museum
New applicants for Cultural Arts Grants include:
Seaside Musical Theater
The City Arts Commission also granted itself $22,000.00 to fund Concerts in the Green and
Shakespeare by the Sea for summer 2014.
The Cultural Arts Staff Report goes to City Council for approval on Tuesday, December 10. Check
presentations to the arts organizations will be made at City Council in January.
Museum Bus Tour
The Cultural Arts Division has contracted Janis Dinwiddie to coordinate the bus tour to LACMA,
which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
