New parking restrictions have been added to one side of the street on Vista del Oro adjacent to CDMHS. I
support this change because I believe it increases the safety for students & residents. Currently during school or
sports activities, parents & students park on both sides of the street while leaving their doors open to unload and
the occupants dash across the street between parked cars. Some drivers even double park next to a parked car
waiting to pick up someone at the school. The street is narrow making it almost impossible for two-way traffic.
I am a homeowner in the Bluffs' and I believe this will improve the traffic flow and increase visibility & safety.
