CURRENT BUSINESS
ITEM NO. 2 DRAFT MARINERS' MILE REVITALIZATION MASTER PLAN (PA2016-081)
Site Location: Mariners' Mile (West Coast Highway between Dover Drive
and Newport Boulevard)
SUMMARY: The Planning Commission will conduct a study session regarding the draft Mariners'
Mile Revitalization Master Plan. The Planning Commission and members of the
public will be invited to comment on the draft plan. This study session will be
informational only and no decisions will be made at this meeting. The purpose of the
study session is to provide the Planning Commission and the public the opportunity
to review and discuss the proposed project in advance of public hearings. Formal
Planning Commission and City Council public hearings are tentatively scheduled to
begin in May 2017. Additional notice of those hearings will be provided.
The Planning Commission received the presentation for the project and requested
additional analysis be conducted regarding specific project issues. No formal
action was taken.
