■ Newport Beach receives CDBG funds each year
from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development
■ These funds are allocated to activities in annual
Action Plans pursuant to strategies adopted in
the five year Consolidated Plan
■ Amendments to the Consolidated Plan or Action
Plan are necessary when the City wishes to
make changes the five year strategies or to
cancel one or more activities previously
allocated CDBG funds

■ Delete Priority Deed and strategic Plan Goal for
Commercial Facade Improvements
• Add $995,802 of net proceeds and program income to
the Strategic Plan for public facilities and
improvements
• 2015-2016 Action Plan
■ Cancel Commercial Facade Improvements ($125,320)
• 2016-2017 Action Plan
■ Cancel West Newport Recreation Facility ($100,831)
