�E�A,S, in 1967, 12,usseCCSurf6oards formaLCy opened on BaC6oa BCvd near Blackies, the Historic
bar and surf spot; and
ZVXE�AS, in the 2000s, 1�,usseCC Surfboards was not only the "wise elder" surfboard builder in
Newport BeacH, but one of the oldest in the industry; and
`W'3fE�AS, l�,uss trained one of His dedicated employees, ,�oFin Baul 1�,o6erts, ",%�l'" to take over the
business so He could retire, "Hang Loose"and move to 7�,auai; and
�fE�AS, ACtFiougH l�,uss is no Conger with us, He would 6e t(riCCed to know that His Legacy, 1�,usseCC
Surfboards, with ��l' at the HeCm, continues to 6uiCd and seCC boards with individual creativity, HistoricaC
tradition and superior craftsmanship which makes a 1�,usseCCSurf6oard one of the best you can buy.
