`WXrE E�,S, Steve Bender andjennifer Witucki, Co -Chairs of the Newport Beach .Yost Town Committee, fed
a group of business leaders and community members for over 10 months to prepare for the Special Olympics
World Games; and
WI&REAS, the City of Newport Beach .Yost Town Committee provided housing, transportation,
entertainment, food and beverage, and moral support for 136 athletes and coaches from Mexico and 10 athletes
and coaches from Fri; and
` VHEU,4S, on Jufy 20, 2015, the ,Yost Town Committee organized an inspirational Special Olympics Torch
Ceremony at the Newport Beach Civic Center, which included five music, refreshments, and words of praise and
encouragement for affof the athletes.
