Re: Item No. 18 — Call for Review of the Approval of a Variance and Coastal
Development Permit for 3200 Ocean Blvd.
Staff respectfully requests Item No. 18 on the September 25, 2018 City Council
agenda be continued to an uncertain date. City Staff has spoken with Coastal
Commission (CC) staff and understand the CC will be reviewing the City's request
to include the variance procedures in the City's Local Coastal Plan. Staff has
spoken to the applicant, and believe that it would be best the City Council wait on
hearing this item until the CC has made a decision.
