On April 24, 2018, City Council held a study session with staff proposing some possible ideas 3. Meeting with Lido Isle Board Members November 14, 2018 What We Heard from Residents 1. Lack of parking enforcement 2. Lack of notification and communication from builders 3. Builders have no consideration for the neighbors 4. Implement a parking permit program for builders o. Concern for delaying projects timelines 6. Lack of noise control What We Heard from Local Builders Limiting Saturday work allows workers to rest 1. Delays in construction are problematic for property owners 3. Parking impacts will fluctuate with economy 4. Limiting number of permits for trades delays the project 5. Shortage of labor delaying projects on average of 4 to 6 months Staff Recommendations: E 1 Restrict construction activity noise on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day 2. Require project information sign on projects requiring fencing 3. Require a parking management plan for new construction 4. Limit the length of time on construction to 5 years 5.
