City Hall.Newport Beach. November 20th,1913.
The Board of trustees og the City of Newport Beach met in adjourned
session 2.30P.M.date and place above shown.
President Albert Hermes called the meeting to order;and roll w4a called
showing present trustees:Albert Hermes;W.K.Parkinson and C.H.Way.Absent
trustees S.L.Collins and R.J.Stauss.
Moved by trustee W.K.Parkinson,seoonded by trustee C.H.Way and carried
that C.M.Crego be appointed to fill the position Of assistant water -
superintendant under provisions of ordinance #92.
The bond of C.M.Crego,with J.H.Sharps and J.J.Sehnitker as sureties,in
the sum of 02500.00 was presented.
Moved by trustee :7.K.Parkinson;seconded by trustee C.H.Way and carried;
that on approval as to form by the City Attorney;that bond as named above
be approved accepted and filed.
Steet Supt J.E.�arker reported an old running gear and some parts of
on hand , useless -to the city.Also most of the old decking from the River
brldge:and asked permission to sell same to best advantage.
Mol,ed by trustee C.H.Way;seconded by trustee W.K.Parkinson and carried
that Street Supt be instructed to sell the old material,reported on hand,
to best advantage.
Moved by trustee W.K.Parkinson;seconded by trustee C.H.Way;and carried
that adjournment be taken sine -die. ,djourned.
