The Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach met in adjourned session 7.30 P.M.Monday Feby 15th,1915. I. President Parkinson called the meeting to order and roll-call showed there were-present trustees: -W. K.Parkinscn,S.R. Jumper ,H.A. Robinson,C.H.:7ay and G.P.Vilson,Absent:Uone. Unfinished business: -The committee having in hand the arranging of ' a new or suplementary contract with the F.O.Engstrom Company in the matter of the street lighting system,reported progress and was continued. Ordinance j;- being an crdinance of the city of Newport Beach establishing an official grade on the Ocean fronton the Bay Front and on Bay Avenue Central and ITewport Avenues was read for the first time and on motion of trustee C.H.Way seconded by trustee H.A':Robin- son and carried was paosod to second reading. New Business: - Electricians bond was presented by Blue-Ross but was in an unfinished condition.I,loved by trustee C.H.17ay,seconded•by trus S.R.Jumper and carried that bond•be approved and accepted and filed when presented in a completed conditicn. Moved that the Board of Trustees act as a committee of the whole and with consulting engineer Kellogg and Lew H.Vallace visit neighboring Beacheo - that have suffered by the recent high tides and see if we ir.•proparing for protestion,may profit by their experience.Motion was mof3e by trustee C.H.Way,seconded by trustee S.R.Jumper and duly carried. - Lew H.Wail..ce addressed the Board on the condition of the main I I thoroughfares of the City and urged action in getting them into better condition. Moved by trustee S.R.'iamper,ceconded by trustee G.P.S7ilson•and carried that consulting engineer Kellogg be instructed to furnish as imate of cost of installing lights on poles on Central Aveenue east of 11.4sin•Street Balboa;also on Newport Avenue 30th street to the River Bridge. Moved by trustee C.H.l7ay seconded by trustee H.A.Robinson,and carried that adjournment be taken sine die.Ad our ed..%� C�� U Clerk> I _
