The Board of Trustees of the ^ity of N "post Beach met in adjourned
session 7.30 P.M.Wednesday June'23rd,1915 in the city hail.
In the absence oT President Parkinson the cl'er.k• called the meeting
to order and on motion duly made seconded and carried trustee S.R.
Jumper was elected president pro -tom and at took the chair ordering
the roll called;trustees S.R.Jumper;C.H.1ay and G.P.°Ji•lson answering
to same.Absent:trustees '•'J.v,Parkinson and H.A.Robinson.
City Eno'yineer Webbor presented plans,specificatioAs and estimate of
cost for a wooden sidewalk as instructed at last meeting,tafter
discussion and certain modificationan being decided on a resolution
was adopted on motion of trustee C.H.Way seconded by trustee G.P.Wili
adopting.said plans and specifications roll, being called on same and
resulting as follows Ayes:trustees S.R. %mper,r,.H.Way,amd G.P.Nilson
Noes: None.Absent trustees:'7.H.Parkinson and H.A.Robirrson.Acting
president Jumper declared resolution adopted.
Resolution.of intention #- being a resolution declaring it to be
the intention of the Board of Trustees tof the-city of Newport Bosch
-to'order a certain improvoment made;namely�tho building of a wooden
side- walk,pile supported along the ocean front from 18th to 33rd
streets.This resolution of intention being read for the first time
it was moved by trustee G.P.Wilson,seconded by trustee C.H.Way and
carried that the same bo passed to second reading.
Various applications to operate and carry on certain lines of busino
as provided in ordinance #110 were read and granted on motion of
trustoe C.H.Way seconded by trustee G.P.Wilson and carried.
The request of T.Porter that he be allowed to cross over side walk
to get onto his promises with an automobile was granted on motion of
trustee C.H..Way seconded by trustee G.P.Wilson end carried.
