The Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach met in adjourned
session 7.30 P.M.Mionday,March 20th,1916.
President Parkinson called the meeting to order and the roll was
called showing there were present trustees W.K.Parkinson,S.R.Jumper,
H.A.Robinson,C.H.Way and G.P.Wilson.Absent;none.

'Various communications were read and referred to proper order of
business.
New business:Letter from the American Rubber Manufacturing Company
soliciting for fire hose was filed.
Letter from State Board of Control answering inquiry as to matter
of bid on bonds and stating that Abstract of the Proceedings leading
up to bond issue was still in hands of Attorney General was filed.
Invitation of the city of San Jose to attend a Rodeo to be held in t
city July 1st to 4th,1916 was filed.
Letter from Arthur M.Loomis,publie accountant,soliciting auditing
of the city accounts was filed.
Neuner and Rompanys solicititation of printing of bonds was filed.
Pacific States Electric Co's notice.of advance in prices of electric
goods was filed.
Letter from George Bauer of Anaheim reccomending the lowering of the
' existing liquor license fee was filed.
The President appointed the Board to'meet as a committee of the
whole with the city Engineer on Tuesday morning and go over the
territory proposed to be annexed when the coming Into the city of
Balboa Island is voted on.
The President appointed the Board to meet as a committee of the
whole with city engineer Funk at his office Friday and inspect
certain paved streets.
Moved by trustee H.A.Rob'inson,seconded by trustee G.P.Wilson that
adjournment be taken to 7.30 P.M.Monday,March 27th,1916.Adjourned.
