City Hall, Newport Beach, Cal. Jany.22nd, 1917.
The Board of Trustees of the city of New-oort Beach met in ad4ourned
session 7:30 P.P.M. Monday January 22nd, 1917.
President Jumper called the meeting to order and the r611 was called
showing there were present Trustees, S.R.Jumper, Glenn Helms, G.P.
Wilson, H.A.Robinson, Absent; Trustee J.C.McCain.
Reading of the minutes of the meeting of Jany 15th, was dispensed with.
Communications; were read and referred to proper order of business. ,
UNFINISHED BUSINESS;
Ordinance T128, was returned'by the city attorne,
Vas taken up, read, considered, and on motion of trustee Glenn Helms
seconded by trustee, G..P.ifilson was placed upon final passage, the
roll was called and Ordinance #128 passed and was thereupon signed
and approved by the President of the Board of Trustees, and was.
attested by the Clerk.
NEW BUSINESS; Leeds to furnish co ies of all laps and mans
Moved by trustee H.A.Robinson seconded by trustee G.P.
Wilson and carried that Captain Leeds be requested to furnish the
Board of Trustees and the City Attorney copies.of all plans and
maps in connection with the Jetty Construction. .s>
Two letters from the pacific Light & ower Corp1n, were read relating
to the keys for the time switches, for which the-Board asked possess-
ion, and the matter of rates as.charged in other cities served by
them, the same were ordered filed.
The Clerk was instructed to order,three sets of election supplies
or the annexation election to be held Feby 20, 1917 and have the
same shipped to City Attorney Bishpp, and to also order the necessar ,
ballot paper from the State for the same purpose.
