The Board of Trustees met in regular session on the date and a
the place above shown.
The roll was called and all the members of the Board were f
to be present,viz: H.A. Robinson, J. J .Schnitker,Geo.P.ii'ilson,J.C.M
and J.P.Greeley. •
The minutes of March 4th were read and approved as read.
RESOLUTION NO.93.
Trustee J.J.Schnitker presented
sale of Channel Bonds,- N50,000.00 at

was introduced,received,and ordered

A Resolution of the City of Newport Beach by the
legislative body thereof,to -Tait: the Board of
Trustees,supplementing Resolution No.88 of said
City,and providing for the sale at private sale
of certain bonds thereof.
On motion of Trustee J.P.Greeley,seconded by Trustee Geo.P.Wils�or
the roll was calle4,ana Resolution No.93 passed by the following vote:
Ayes,- Trustees II.A. Robinson, J. J. Schnitker ,Geo.P.17ilson,J.C.MCCain,
J.P.Greeley. Noes,Trustees None. Absent,Trustees None.
BID OF ',7M.R.STAATS CO.FOR CHANNEL BONDS.
__ Resolution awarding to 71m.R.Staats Company 64 of the bonds o
the City of Newport Beach,issued for the acquisition and constructi
of a municipal improvement in said city,to -wit: a,channel in Newpor
Bay,was presented.It was moved By Trustee J.P.Gaeeley and seconded
Trustee J.J.Schnitker that said Resolution be adopted as follows:
7Yiereas. the city of Newport Beach has offered for sale 64 muni
pal bonds of said city,being 32 bonds in the denomination of 11000.
and 32 in the denomination of w562.50,issued for the acquisition an
construction of a municipal improvement in the City of Newport Beac
to -wit: s channel in Newport Bay,the said bonds to be sold at priva
sale,and
;7hereas,Jm.R.Staats Company has offered for said 64 bonds the
of 150,000,the par value of said bonds,and interest accrued thereon
the date of delivery;
Now therefore,be it resolved that the said bonds be sold and a
ed to 7m.R.Staats Company for the said sum of �50,600.their par val
and interest accrued to the -date of their delivery,subject to the t
of their bid.

Newpo'r't Beach at a meeting thereof held the 6th day of I,Iarch,1918 b

RESOLUTION INSTRUCTING CITY ENGINISER REGARDING SE1ER SYSTEM.
By motion of Trustee J.J.Schiiitker,seconded by Trustee J.C.McCaln
and carried it was resolved that the Cit:v Engineer be instructed to in-
clude the construction of the sewer system and the paving of streets)
from B to 19th.Streets as previously ordered, in one proceeding,with the
exception that a separate proceeding be taken for the paving of Central
Avenue from Alvarado to B.St.
SERVICE FLAG ORD'RED.
By motion made by Trustee Geo.P.Wilson,seconded by Trustee J.C.
_McCain,tlie Clerk was instructed to order a service flag for the City
Hall.
