The roll was called and the following Trustees were present: Trustees J. 1l. rreeley ,J.J.Schnitker,Geo.P.i7ilson and 1.9).7ilkinson; absent,Trustee J.C.McCain. The reports of Heads of Derartments were read and by motion of Trustee T.J.Schnitker.seconded by Trustee Geo.P.7ilson and carried were accepted and ordered filed. The written report of Paul E.Sressly.,City Engineer,on the pro - tection.o -r the shore end of the jetty was read. Communications were read and disposed of as follows: The request of D.:'J.Tate to be relieved of his garbage contract r7as granted by motion made by Trustee 3eo.P. In re the letter of C.H.Burnett,PSgr.Real Estate,Taxes on d Resorts for the Pacific Electric Land Co.regarding dredczin - aterial,it r:�s moved bar Trustee L.S. "Jilkinson,seconded by Trustee J.J.Schnitker and carried that a committee composed of the President of the 13oard,the City Encrineer and Levi H.;Jallace formulate a proposition to present to the- Pacific'Electric Cbinpany for an exchange o£ dredged. material for real property. It was moved by Trustee J.J.Schnitker,seconded by Trustee Geo.P. 7ilson and carried that the City A`o-rney be instructed to draw un a , contract for the collection of garbage by Harry.Jard along the lines sugr4ested by the Street Superintendent. A Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Neap Beach was held at the hour and place above noted. The Roll was called and the following Trustees were present; - Trustees J.P. Greeley ,J.J.Schnitker,Geo.P.i7ilson and L.S.,ilkinson; Absent,J.C.IIcCain. The Call vias read and the Board proceeded to the business stated therein,viz: the consideration of the dredging and shipbuilding con- tracts of the Pope Shipbuilding Corporation. IIr.A.H.Koebig,consulting engineer of the Pope Shipbuilding Cory, - orat ?on,requested that owing to their iriability to secure -a dredger t overate in P;ewiort Ray,a contract be entered into faith the North imer iean Dredging Co.to replace the•contract held by them dated Aug.5,191 It :iRs moved by Trustee L.S.':'ilkinson,seconded by °_'rustee Geo.P. ilson and duly carried that a contract as discussed be entered into between the City of Eevroort Beach and the I ?orth American Dredging Co. for the dredging of °a channel in I?evroort Bay,and that the City Attorr_ y and the attorney for the North American Dredging Co. confer and prepa ;e a contract as outlined.
