City Hall, Newport Beach, Aug. 13, 1919,
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach
- met in adjourned session at 9 :30 A. M. Wednesday August
13, 1919. President Greeley called the meeting to order,
and the roll was called, showing there were present,
Trustees J. P. Greeley, J. J. Schnitker, A. L. Heard, and
L. S�. Wilkinson. Absent Trustee rJ. C. McCain.
A communication from A. T. Harris of the Los Angeles
Times,calling attention to the advertisement possibilites
in the Mad- winter number of the ties .7^ele4 T.mes, was
referred to J. n.. ArmitaUe ,

On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitkar, seconded by
Trustee A. L=. Heard, and carried, the clemk was instructed
to investigate gas rates throughout the different cities
in Orange County, and report back to the Board<as soon as
possible.
On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker, seconded by
Trustee A. L. Heard, and carried, adjournment was taken
until 10:00 A. M. Thursday August 14, 19190
