The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach met in adjourn-
ed session at 9:30 A. M. Thursday August 14, 1919. <
The meeting was called to order by Pesident J.P. Greeley.
The roll was called shorting the following trustees were
present: Trustees Ja !'. ^r`eeley, J. J. Schiiitker, A. L. Heard,
J. S. Wilkinson. "Lbs6�.ht Trustee J. C. McCain.
On motion of Trustee L. S. Wilkinson, seconded by Trustee
A. L. Heard, and carried , the attorney was instructed to take
proper st¢ps t6 have gas rates raised as per schedule.

Trustee L. S. Wilkinson reported that Fire Chief had asked
for new tires for fire truck. After discussion it,was decided to
take no action at this time.
On motion of Trustee J. J. Sch:-.itker, seconded by Trustee
A. L. Heard, and carried., W, !7. 17ilson, was instructed to report
on collections for filling ,,ich dredging material by City of Newport
Beach.
On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker, seconded by Trustee
A. L. Heard, and carried, adjournment was taken until 10 :00 A.M.
August 15, 1919.

session at 10;00 o' clock, Friday August 15, 1919.
The meeting was cailed to order by President J. P. Greeley.
The roll was called showing the following Trustees present:
J. P. Greeley, J. J. Schnitker, A. L. Heard, J. S. Wilkinson,
J. C. McCain.
There being no business to come before the meeting, after
general discussion on the different phases arising in connection
with entertainment of the officers and crews of the Government
boats which will be anchored here August 16, 17, 188 On motion
of Trustee J. J. Schnitker, seconded by Trustee J. C. McC-sin
and carried, adjournment was taken until monday August 18th, 7:30
P. I.I.
