City Hall, Newport Beach, Aug.18, 1919,
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, met
in adjourned session at 7:30, P. M. August 18,19190
President Greeley called the meeting to order. The roll
was called showing they were present the following Trustees,
J..P. Greeley, J. J. Schnitker, A. L. Heard, J. C. McCain,
and L. S. Wilkinson. < f
President J.-P. Greeley reported very favorably for the
Committee appointed to interview Admiral Rodman and Secretary
Daniels ;at SanDiego. He stated that Secretary Danielt. % uld
try and visit Newport Har bor upon his return from Honolulu.
On motion of Trustee Wilkinson, seconded by Trustee
J. J. Schnitker.; and carried, the report was accepted and the
Committee discharged with thanks.
Communications were read and referred to the proper a der
of business. The clerk was instructed to deliver
the letter from 11r. H. 74. McCormack, of the Mare Island
Navy Yard, to Mr. Joseph Ferguson, and to notify Mr. TSe-
Cornack that same had been done.

On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker, seconded by Trustee
A. L. Heard, and carried, the demand of Paul E. %ressly in the
amount of 872.00, was allowed.
On motion of Trustee J. C. McCain , seconded by Trustee
A. L. Heard,and carried, adjournment was taken untiiMondey,.
