The Board of Trustees of the City or 7dc7.roort "each met in
regular session at 7.30 P.T.I.
The meeting was called to order by President J.P. Greeley
In the absence of I.I.L.Orcutt "City Clerk Trustee L.S.
';7ilkinson acted as City Clerk pro tem.
The roll was called showing the following Trustees prosent
J.P. "reeley, J. J.Schnitker IA. L. Heard, L.S.'7ilkin son, J.C.McCain.
Reading of the minu'es of Dec.Ist and I5th were read and
(there being no corroctions,same were approved.
The reports of the heads of Departments were 'read,and on
imotion of Trustee J.C.McCain seconded by .3.L.Heard were accepted
and ordered filed.
City Attorney rero� rted progress on action to perfect Right
of way over street "Bay Ave" ;west of 30th. Street.
Letter from J.S.Stewart asking transfer of business
license to R.J.Schafer.
C.Alves called attention to di-rting or paving of Central
Ave from ',lvarado to Street being, a necessity before th:. summer Sao
Reported b% City Attorney that City "ngineer was to furnish dLtes
for action to procure Right of way throu7h district named.
On motion by Trustee J.J.;chnitker seconded by Trustee A.L.
Heard carried that City engineer be requested to hurry these
proceedings a16ng.
Trustee .,.L.Hcard called attention to lack of pro--or signs
on channel posts to protect same.
C.Alves reported tele -;raph poles between Plain and n Str,:eta
on Central AvU on P.E.Right of way.
J.C.HcCain asked about condition of water pipe from plant
to sand snit.
Motion.duly mide by Trustee J.J.Schnitker seconded by
Trustee A.L.Heard and carried that the water committee and Plater
Supt.be instructed to look into the mater of securing mo e water 1
lendr,
Liotion by T.J.Schnitker seconded by J.C.McCain and carried
Thwt the City Attorney look into the matter of removing the
"Fremont" and take necessary steps to have owners remove sa.no if
possiile.
Trustee A.L.Heard called.attention to location of sign post
on Central rive. Street Superintendent notified to take matter up

with the P.E.and have same removed.
On motion by Trustee J.J.Schnitker seconded by A.L.Heard,
That City Engineer be,instructed to survey corner I9th Street
and Central Ave to'make safe turn and submit report.

Motion by Trustee J.J.Schnitker seconded by J.C.McCain
and carried,That the transfer of license from J.S.Stew.rt toR.J.
Schafer be granted.
Petition from.Citizcn asking that street lighting be made
normal.

On motion duly made by Trustee J.C.11cCain seconded by
Trusteo J.J.Schnitker and carried Demands 4-545 to #622 for the
month of December having been signed and approved by the y' inance
Con ittce be allowed and warrants drawn.
Motion by Trustee J.J.Schnitker seconded by Trustee L.S.
7i17cinson and carried,That the sum of PW 5 be paid monthly to the
South Coast Improvement Association for the next three months.
Attention called by J.A.Armitage to proposition of State
R.R.Commission to make county build bridges in county.
Tax collector J.A.Porter called attention to delinquent
taxes on certain lots in City onOccan front and lots put into road
(BAY- Ave)asked that tax collector and city:clerk be given credit.

carried,That City Treasurer be instructed to obtain duplicate decd.

in adjourned session at 7.30 P.M.

Sehnitker was appointed City Clerk pro tem.
The roll was called shoving the followinP Trustees pre
present, J.P.Greeley, J.J.Schnitker, and A.L.Heard. Absent J.C.

Reading of the minutes were dispensed with:
Request of H.Bay "'ebster for permission to build pier
in front of Lot #5 Block 9 nalboa Island read.and laid over for
two weeks being; referred to City Engineer.
