The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach met
in adjourned session at 7.30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President J.".
Greeley.
In the absence of T.4.L.Orcutt Clty Clork Trustee J.J.
Schnitker was appointed City Olerk pro tern.
The roll was called showing the following Trustees pre
present, J.P.Greeley, J.J.Schnitker, and A.L.Heard. Absent J.C.
McCain and L.S. "Iilkinson.

In the matter of annexation of new and u:nhabited territory
to the City of Newport Reach.
Aspecial election,pursuant to due rroceedings had and �s
provided for in Resolution TTo. I26 of the City of Uowport Beach,
having been duly held at and within the said city on the 13th
day of January, I920, at uhieh special election there was submitt d
to, and voted for and against by the qualified electors of the ci -r
of SIe r opt 7'each, the question whether or not that certain new
and uninhabited territory hereinafter doscribed should be annexed!
to and incorp i

having been duly made and deoosited with the Clork of the city of:
Newport Beach,the Board of Trustees of said city,as the legislative
-body thereof,mot on this,the I9th day of January,1920,at the hour

Located in the County of Orange,State of California,
and more particularly described as:
Beginning at a point in the present notherly boundary
line of the city of Newport Beach,which point is 290342 feet hest
and 264197 feet North of the common corner of Sections 27,28,33,
and 34, Township 6 South, Range IO West,S.B.B. &M.? thence North
60 09' East II2.50 feet to a point in the Northerly line of the
County Road, which point is 2891.37 feet West,and 2753.81 feet
North of the common corner of Sections 27,28, 33,and 34, here -
inbe£ore referred to; thence North 9) 39' East 85 feet to a point
thence North 800 2I' west II0 feet to a point; thence South 9-
39' west 85 feet to a point in the Notherly line of the County
Road; thence South 800 2I'Eas�6 along the Notherly line of the said

And it appearing from the said returns and the canvass
jthereof that a majority of all the votes cast were and are cast
iin favor of annexation -
It was ordered that the Clerk of the city of Newport
Beach make up and certify under the Seal of the city of Newport
Beach and transmit to the Secretary of the State and to the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Orange, in said State, the county
in which the city of Newport Beach is located, a copy of the
foregoing report, so entered upon the minutes of the said Board
of Trustees, and which shows the date of said special election
and the time and the result of the said canvass, and that from
and after the date of the filing of the said document in the office
of the Secretary of State the annexation of such new uninhabited
territory hereinbefore described shall be deemed and shall be
complete, and thenceforth such annexed territory shall be a part
of the city of Newport Beach for all intents and purposes, except
that no part of such annexed territory shall ever be taxed to pay

On motion duly made by Trustee A.L.Heardseconded by J.J.S
Schnitker and carried,That the license of J.C.McCain was transferred
Fred Noller.
On motion made by A.L.Heard seconded by J.J.Sehnitker and
carried meeting duly adjourned Sine -Die.
