'Nilson and carried, the application of the I ?ewport Harbor I,.arine Corp. for permission to build a pleasure pier for C. E. Price, was granted subject- to the c�i-113. of the Board. The matter of a new jail was considered, and on motion of Trustee Conrad Richter seconded by Trustee Geo. P. `Wilson and carried, the recommendation of the Police Committee that the jail be placed on tine southeasterl-v side of the gas crabehouse was accepted, and the City ' Engineer was instructed to drayr up plans and specifications for the jail. The need of a bridge across the Rivo Alto on 36th Street was considered, and ©n motion of Trustee L. S. Wilkinson seconded by Trustee Geo. P. CJilson and carried, the City Enginesr was instructed to prepare plans and specifications for the bridge, and the Clerk ryas instructed to advertise for bids on same. ' On motion of Trustee .'T. C.
