City Hall, Newport Beach, April 7,1925.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, met in
regualr session on the above date, at-7:30 otclock P.M. The meeting
was called to order by President Geo.P- .wilson. The roll was called showing
the full Board present. The minutes -of the previous meeting were
dispensed with. '
The report of the Planning Conmiission which recommended that
the Board of Trustees accept the map of Tract No. 756 was read and
on motion of Trustee Clilhinson, seconded by Trustee Sloan, and carried
was acepted and ordered filed.
Mr.Frick was called upon and explained in detail the subdivision
planned by hire, Mr. C.C.Henry of Balboa called the attention of
the Board to alleged right of way which were not shown on the map, but it
was decided that the matter was not one of serious importance,
on motion of Trustee Wilkinson, seconded by trustee Young, and
carried, the map of Tract No,756 was approved and ordered accepted.
Trustee Wilkinson moved the adoption of the following:
RESOLUTION NO.314.
"A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach, vacating, Abandoning and Closing up a public Street in said City,"
which motion was seconded by truste^ Richter. Thereupon, the
roll was called, the trustees voting in the following manner.
Ayes: Trustees Geo,P.1,7Wilson, H.C.Sloan, Fred 71.Young, Contaad
Richter and L.S.Willcinson.
Noes: Trustees, None. '
Absent: Trustees None.
City Tax Collector, Porter, presented the matter of a tab
refund on Lot 12 Block 5 of Section 2 Balboa Island. Grounds for
refund being, tax on improvements that were never on the property.
There being no objection, the matter was referred to City Attorney Bishop
for report at the next meeting.
There being no further business, on motion of Trustee Wilkinson
seconded by trustee Young, and carried, the meet was adjourned to 7:30
P. M.Monday, Aptil,13,1925.
