The meeting was called to order by President Geo. P. 17ilson; the roll was called showing the full Board present with the exception of Trustee Conrad Richter. The 'call was read as follows: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL I,EL;TING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NM'!PORT BEACH IS CALLED FOR THE HOUR OF 3:30 O'CLOCK P. M. OF FRIDAY, JANUARY 22ND, 1926 IN THE CITY HALL THEREOF. P'.. and the Board of Trustees proceeded to consider the subject for which the meeting was called. On motion of Trustee Sloan, seconded by Trustee Young, and carried, the resignation of C. A. Thompson as Treasurer of the City of I:ewport Beach was accepted. 141061 C C `"n On motion of Trustee Young, seconded by Trustee Sloan, and carried, Mr. J. A. Porter was appointed as Treasurer to hold office till the next regular election. On motion of Trustee Sloan, seconded by Trustee ':iilkinson, and carried, the meeting was adjourned. ' The Board of Trustees of'the City of A'e::port Beach met in regular session on the above de.te at 7:30 o'clock P. :!. The meeting was celled to order by President Geo. P. Wilson. The roll was called showing the full Board present.' The minutes of the previous meeting were read and having been revised, were approved. On motion of Trustee Wilkinson, seconded by Trustee Young, and carried, the minutes of the Special meeting of January 22, 1926 having been amended, were approved as amended. Communications were read and referred to the _proper order of business. Trustee Wilson handed the Clerk the certificate of title and deed to the water bee.rin land from the Associated Oil Company and stated that there was a p10.00 charge for bringing down the cer'L-- f icate to date. On motion of Trustee Sloan, seconded by Trustee Young, and carried, the President and Clerk were authorized to drFX! a War- rant for 510.00 in payment of the charge. Mr. George Peabody addressed the Board for City ' Advertising Manager Harry Telch, who ` ^a.- sick and unable to attend the meeting. Mr. Peabody explained a publicity plan for the coming Harbor Bond Election. It r:as proposed to have Rogers Aircraft people make photographs from the air of Ner -port Harbor and vicinity. The price of the photograph r'as said to be N50.00 per square mile. The matter =:es discussed and on notion of Trustee t1ilkinson, seconded by Trustee Young, and carried, the publicity agent v.-as instr -cted to order the picture as proposed, and the cost to be paid out of the City Publicity Fund, end ordered set aside when the amount was knorn. It was estimated by Mr. Peabody that the entire cost of the propos- ition would be approximately w900.00. •
