The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in adjourned ' regular session in the City Council Chambers at the City Hall in the City of Newport Beach at 7 o'clock P. M. on above date, with Mayor Williamson presiding. On roll call the following Councilmen answered present: Gordon, Claire, Williamson. Absent, Councilmen: Whitson, Garfield. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COLLITTEES None. REPORTS OF SPANDING GU11ITTEES None. COMbkUNICATIOAS None. UNFINISHED SUSINESS The City Engineer submitted a report in connection with the sewer bids, advising that the lowest bid was submitted by Gogo and Rados, other bidders being the A. & B. Construction Co., and Claude Fisher and Associates, but recommended that all the bids being excessive, be rejected. 'Mnereupon it was moved by Councilman Claire that all the bids be rejected, bonds of the bidders be returned and that the City Engineer be authorized to report to the PbVA authorities the reason for said rejection. The motion was duly seconded by Councilman Gordon and carried by the following roll call vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Gordon, Claire, Williamson. NOES: Councilmen None. ' ABSENT: Councilmen Whitson, Garfield. City Attorney Thompson presented Ordinance No. 451 for final passage, being AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE N0. 440 OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, SO AS TO PERMIT AUTOMOBILE COURTS, CAMPS OR TRAILER. CAMPS IN DISTRICT 0_1 (Local) BUSINESS DISTRICT REGULATIONS. The ordinance was read and considered, the adoption of same being moved by Councilman Claire,.duly seconded by Councilman Gordon and was passed by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Gordon, Claire, Williamson. NOES: Councilmen None. ABSENT: Councilmen Whitson Garfield. ADJO URA11LENT On motion of Councilman Clasire, seconded by Councilman Gordon and carried, an adjournment was to en to 7:30 P.
