Roll Call The roll-;:was called, the following Councilmen answering present: Allen Stanley, Isbell, Reed, Hall, Absent, Councilmen: None. The Mayor asked if any of the Councilmen or anyone in the audience wished the minutes of the previous meeting, or any part thereof, read, no one responded and the reading of the minutes was dispensed with. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES. None. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES. None. COMMUNICATIONS. Mayhew for a permit to install a pier to install a pier fronting -on Lot 2, Block 434, Canal Section was on motion of Councilman granted Allen, seconded by Councilman Isbell and carried, granted subject to the customary restrictions. J.P.Greeley letter City Engineer Patterson presented a letter from Mrs. J. P. Greeley re: pier permit pertaining to a pier permit issued in 1926. S. Barrett and R. A. Rogers, it was moved by Councilman Allen that the contract be awarded to W. E. Hall Company, lwest bidder, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute on behalf of the City,the contract with said W. E. Hall Company. The Motion was duly seconded by Councilman Isbell and carried unanimously. Return of Check to On motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman Allen and carried, Sully - Miller Co. the City Clerk was instructed to return the certified check accompanying the bid of the Sully - Miller Contracting Company.
