SPECIAL MEETING
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in Special
Session on above date with Mayor Reed presiding.
The roll was called, the following Councilmen answering present:
Allen, Robertson, Reed. Absent, Councilmen: Siler, Isbell.
The call for the Special Meeting duly acknowledged by the
members of the Council present, was read, being for the purpose of:
1. Accepting certain deeds of Easement from Irvine Beach
and Country Club Estates, Ltd. for sanitary sewers
and storm drains.
2. To consider the application of Ets -Hokin and Galvin for
the installation of underground storage for the handling
of hazardous fluids at 1000 Coast Highway.
On motion of Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman
Robertson and carried, the call was ordered filed.
' Councilman Allen moved the adoption of a resolution being
a resolution accepting a deed of Easement from Irvine Beach and
Country Club Estates, Ltd. for the construction and maintenance of
sanitary sewers in certain described portions of Tract 1116. The
motion for adoption was duly seconded by Councilman Robertson, the
resolution designated Resolution No. 3387 and was passed by the
following roll call vote to wit:
• AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Robertson, Reed
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Siler, Isbell
Councilman Allen moved the adoption of a resolution, being
a resolution accepting a deed of Easement from Irvine Beach and Country
Club Estates, Ltd., for Storm drain purpose in certain described
portions of Tract No. 1116. The motion for adoption was duly seconded
by Councilman Robertson, the resolution designated Resolution No. 33$$
and was passed by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Robertson, Reed
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Siler, Isbell
The application of Eta -Hokin and Galvin for a permit to install
underground storage for handling petroleum products, having been approved
s by the Fire Chief as to location, was on motion of Councilman Allen,
seconded by Councilman Robertson and carried, granted.
All matters for which the Special Meeting was called, having
been disposed, it was moved by Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman
Robertson and carried, that an adjournment be taken to 4 o'clock p.m.,
September lb, 1946.
