December 11, 1952
In response to a duly executed call for special meeting
to approve a resolution proposed to be adopted by the Coastal
Municipal Water District agreeing with the Metropolitan ?eater
District to expend $28- ,000.00 to increase capacity of the proposed
pipeline from the Corona del Mar Reservoir to the Coast Highway,
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in the Council
Chambers at the hour of 3:45 p.m.
The roll was called and Councilman Finch and May6r
Miller being absent, the Clerk called for nomination of the Mayor
pro tem and on motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman
Bennett, Councilman Smith was chosen Mayor pro tem by the follow-
ing roll call vote, to -wit:

On motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman
Bennett, the meeting was adjourned.
