NOES, COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None The City Engineer reported that 30 of the SO residents Grand Canal Dredging along the Grand Canal had sent in checks for the dredging. He expenditure authorized reported also that the county had agreed to contribute $1500 toward the project. Mayor Miller suggested that inasmuch as the county was assisting and the canal was a waterway, the city might well carry the additional expense of $900 estimated by the City Engineer as the cost of the dredging. On motion of Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Isbell, the expenditure of $900 for the dredging was authorized and the checks ordered returned by the following roll call vote, to -wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Smith, Finch, Isbell, Bennett, Miller.
