Mr. Claire Nelson, a member of the Orange Count,
Board of Supervisors, spoke from the audience

and stated that the County Counsel informed

said Board that if the proposed annexation
were unprotested and completed, it would be
possible that the County could lose title to

its property within the annexation.

Mayor Stoddard expressed appreciation for Mr.

Nelson's appearance at the meeting and the
explanation of the County's proposed protest.

The City Attorney presented Resolution No. 50071
rescinding Resolution No. 4965 and terminating
the annexation proceedings initiated by said
resolution.
