Mayor Stoddard announced that this was the time

and place for the canvassing of returns and absent;
voters ballots for the Special Municipal Election
held June 2, 1959. The Council canvassed the

votes cast at the polls.

The absent voters ballots were then canvassed.
Councilman Somers joined the meeting at this time.!

The Clerk announced that forty absent voters

ballots had been issued, two were not returned,

thirty -eight were returned and accounted for. The;
result of the canvass of the absentee votes is as
