Mayor Hart opened the continued public hearing regarding
the proposed Annual Budget as prepared by the City Manager
for the fiscal year 1963 -64.
The General Services - Automotive Shop Budget was con-
sidered. Automotive Shop Foreman Hugo Condry spoke fro
the audience.

The Sewers Budget and the Parking Meters and Lots Budgets

The Library Budget was considered. City Librarian Doro-

thea Sheely spoke from the audience. Mrs. Rudy Leer in-

quired from the audience as to how the books for the Library
were selected. Mr. Leon Ware, Chairman of the Board of
Library Trustees, spoke.
Councilman Elder made a motion that funds for the purchase

It was directed that the appropriation for the Library Budget

The Council reconvened with all members present except
Councilman Gruber.
The component sections of the Parks, Beaches and Recrea-
tion Budget, i. e. , Administration; Recreation; Parks, Park-
ways, Etc.; were considered. Peter G. Covington, Recrea-
tion Director and Acting Parks, Beaches and Recreation
Director, spoke from the audience.
The Budget hearing was continued to June 24, 1963 at 7:30
