Mayor Marshall informed the Council that the three
oast
navigational buoys proposed to be eliminated by the U. S.
guard
Coast Guard were actually.located in the ocean in the
vicinity of Newport and Balboa Piers and not within New -
port Harbor as believed, therefore a letter expressing
Council's opposition had not been sent to the Coast Guard
Commander.
