ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING
Place: Council Chambers
Time: 8:00 A. M.
Date: January 20, 1970
Roll Call.
MINUTES
The City Clerk submitted her Certificate of Canvass dated
January 15, 1970 as to the results of the votes cast on
January 13, 1970 in the Special Municipal Election,
setting out the number of votes given at each precinct and
the number of votes for and against the Measure, and
declaring that the total number of votes cast in the City
was 7, 912 and that the Measure asking if the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach should be authorized to enter
into an amended Lease with the Balboa Bay Club was
defeated. Said Certificate of Canvass is attached to these
Minutes as Exhibit "A" and thereby made a part hereof.
Resolution No. 7121, being a resolution of the City of
Newport Beach, reciting the fact of the Special Municipal
Election held in said City on the 13th day of January, 1970
and declaring the result thereof and such other matters as
are provided by law, was adopted after the reading of the
resolution was waived by unanimous consent of the Council
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 A. M.

of California, duly authorized by Resolution No. 7110 adopted by the City Council of
