The City Clerk announced the results as
follows:
Council Member Cox - 3 votes
Council Member Plummer - 3 votes
Council Member Strauss - 1 vote
Inasmuch as a majority vote is required
for the Office Mayor, the City Council
voted again.
The City Clerk tallied the results and
announced that Council Member Cox was
the new Mayor.
Mayor Cox took his proper seat at the
Council table and presented former Mayor
Maurer with a plaque, who responded with
appropriate remarks.
