Special Meeting
June 2, 2010 — 3:00 p.m.
I. ROLL CALL
Present: Council Member Selich, Mayor Pro Tom Henn, Mayor Curry, Council Member Webb,
Council Member Gardner, Council Member Daigle
Excused: Council Member Rosansky
II. CLOSED SESSION
A. Public Emulovment Performance Evaluation (Government Code § 54957(B)11)):
The City Council will meet in closed session to consider the evaluation of performance of the
following public employee.
Title: City Attorney
III. CLOSED. SESSION REPORT
Mayor Curry read a statement, reporting that the Office of the District Attorney conducted an
evaluation of all the facts in the matter and determined that no charges will be filed against Mr.
Hunt. He reported that, in light of the evidence, the City Council unanimously believes it is
appropriate for Mr. Hunt to return to his position as City Attorney immediately.
On behalf of the entire City Council, Mayor Curry thanked Assistant City Attorney Mulvihill and the
staff of the City Attorney's Office for their support during City Attorney Hunt's absence.
IV. ADJOURNMENT - 3:07 p.m.
The agenda for the Special Meeting was posted on June 1, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. on the City
Hall Bulletin Board located outside of the City of Newport Beach Administration Building.
