The Environmental Quality Affairs Committee:
A. Advise and make recommendations to the City Council on policies, programs and projects that affect the environmental quality of the
City, as requested by the City Council, in the following areas:
1. Sustainability efforts including energy, waste management, circulation
2. Actions in response to state and federal requirements involving climate change
3. Education of residents, businesses and visitors as to 1 and 2.
B. Advise on any matter referred to the Committee by the City Council or City Manager.
C. Advise on any matter referred to the Environmental Quality Affairs Committee by the City Council or City Manager.

• The recognition ceremony will be held in Sacramento in 2020.
• The business must have been in business for at least two years, privately held, and with
a physical location within the 74th Assembly District, which includes: Costa Mesa,
Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods and Newport Beach.
