Rouda, We are residents of Costa Mesa and are outraged with the sudden decision by our Governor Newsom regarding transporting infected individuals to this location. Costa Mesa is surrounded by cities with high - density population. Just with one individual walking around the surrounding areas, we all can be at risk. According to Google 2017 population estimates, Costa Mesa had 113,825 residents. Adding the surrounding cities: Newport Beach (86, 160,) Irvine (282,572), Huntington Beach (201,874), Fountain Valley (56,313) and Santa Ana (334,136). Total of 1.074.880 residents The economic impact will be felt in our communities. Who will bring their family to a favorite place as Disneyland, not too far from a nearby facility housing individuals infected with a deadly virnc? We need leaders that can give thoughtful considerations for the imnlementation of their decisions and be totallv aware of consequences that their actions can bri Yours truly, Thais Sainz 3080 Warren Lane, Costa Me, 942 cc.
