FOR THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
COMMUNITY NEEDS FOR DRAFT OF THE 2020-2024 CONSOLIDATED PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., a public
hearing will be conducted in the City Council Chambers at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport
Beach, and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach will receive public comments
related to this matter.
The City of Newport Beach is preparing its Consolidated Plan for 2020-24. The City and
the Community Development Department invites you to attend a public hearing to discuss
the short- and long-term needs of the community and how federal Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds may be used to meet those needs.
ACCESSIBILITY TO MEETINGS AND DOCUMENTS
It is the objective of the City to comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973,
as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the ADA Amendment
Act of 2008, the Fair Housing Act, and the Architectural Barriers Act in all respects. If you
require public documents in an accessible format, the City will make reasonable efforts
to accommodate your request. If you require a disability -related accommodation to attend
or participate in a hearing or meeting, including auxiliary aids or services, please contact
the City Clerk's Office at least 72 hours prior to the meeting at (949) 644-3005.
