SUBJ: MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FY 1981-82
The City Negotiating Team has reached an agreement with the Newport
Beach Employees Association and the Newport Beach Ocean Lifeguard
Association. The agreements can be summarized as follows:
1. Total Compensation Increase:
a. Employees Association - 13.5%
b. Ocean Lifeguard - 12.08
2. Inclusive in the Total Compensation increase, the
city will pay one-half of the employee's PERS
contribution as follows:
a. Employees Association - 3.58
"Miscellaneous"
b. Ocean Lifeguard - 4.58
"Safety"
3. Prudential Health Insurance Maximum Major Medical
benefit increased at no cost to the City from
$250,000 to unlimited.
