The agreement can be summarized as follows: 1. Total Compensation Increase: a. Sworn - 10.5% b. Non -sworn - 9.0% 2. Family Sick Leave: Expands the definition -to include spouse, in addition to son or.daughter. 3. Tuition Reimbursement: Civilian Employees only - amends the current City policy from 6 semester or 9 quarter units and establishes a cost limit of $450.00 per semester and $300.00 per quarter. The maximum reimbursement is $900.00 per'fiscal year. In.accordance with the City Council's direction, it is recommended that the attached Memorandum of Understanding for FY 82/83 be approved retroactive to July 1, 1982.
