SUBJ: MEET AND CONFER - FY 85/86 - NEWPORT BEACH POLICE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION C —2-05,6
Category I. Sworn Personnel
1.) Total Compensation Increase of 5.5%
2.) Limited vision Care Plan to be added to the City's
indemnity insurance plan, at no cost to the City.
3.) Scholastic Achievement Pay increased to $200/month
at the top step.
4.) Section 705.1. of the Personnel Resolution, Bereave-
ment Leave, shall read as follows:
"The necessary absence from duty by an employee
having a regular or probationary appointment,
because of the death or terminal illness in
his/her immediate family."
5.) Sworn uniformed officers shall receive 1/2 day per
month (6 days per year) paid time off as duty
incentive time.
* 6.) The standard workweek shall be 42.5 hours and the
standard workshiftshall be 8.5 hours for sworn
uniformed officers.
* all other classifications,sworn and non -sworn, shall
maintain the current 40 -hour workweek and the 8 -hour
workshift.
Category II. Non -Sworn Personne

3.) Night differential pay to be increased from $.375/hour to
$.475/hour.
4.) Dispatchers shall receive 1/2 day per month (6 days per
year) paid time off as duty incentive time.
*5.) The standard workweek shall be 42.5 hours and the standard
workshift shall be 8.5 hours for dispatchers.
*all other classifications, sworn and non -sworn; shall maintain
the current 40 -hour workweek and the 8 -hour workshift.
