The City of Newport!Beach has entered into an agreement with th ..,, IA _ k11*4
The basic agreement can be summarized as follows:
(1) Salary increase of 13.6%.
(2) In addition, a 22% salary adjustment for 15 classifications effective
1-1-81, with a 5% salary adjustment for I classification effective
1-1-81.
(3) The City reserves the right to establish a separate retirement plan
for new employees.
(4) An increase i.n the maximum annual dental benefit (basic and major)
from $500 to $750.
(5) Additional holidays forthe contract period shall include December 26, 1980,
and January 2, 1981. Members of the Association give up 1/2 day
December 24, 1980 and December 31, 1980.
(6) Veterans' Day shall be celebrated November 11.
(7) Holiday week adjustment for employees on a 4 -day work schedule.
(8) City agrees to meet/confer with Association members regarding the
selection of a health maintenance organization (HMO) in a timely manner.
