SUBJ: MEET S CONFER FY 84/85 - NEWPORT BEACH FIREFIGHTERS ASSN.
The City Negotiating Team has reached an agreement with the Newport Beach
Firefighters Association. The Agreement can be summarized as follows:
1. Total compensation increase: 5.5%
2. Reopener on or about Oct. 1, 1984, on the issues of modifying
the Employee Health Plan and providing a Retiree Health
Insurance Plan.
3. Amendment of the STD/LTD Plan.
In accordance with the City Council's direction, it is recommended that
the attached Memorandum of Understanding for Fiscal Year 84/85 be approved.
