As you are aware the Balboa Angling.Club has a lease upon
property described as follows:
All that land within the northerly prolongation
of A Street, as shown upon a map of Balboa Tract,
recorded in Map Book 4, page 11, records of
Orange County, California, and lying between the
northerly line of Bay Avenue, as shown upon said
map and the pierhead line as established by
United States Government Engineers,
The expiration of ih ich is the 30th day of April, 1957.
It is the desire of the Balboa Angling Club, lessee, to
extend said lease with all its terms and conditions, together
with the amendments thereto as of the date of January 26,1948,
for an additional term of ten (10) years from the present date
of expiration.
The Board of Directors, of which the writer is President,
have plans and projects under consideration which necessitate
the renewal of the lease at this time, and have requested this
writer to make the application.
It is the desire of the Board of Directors that we thank
the City of Newport Beach for its fine cooperation in the past,
and to assure you that we will appreciate an early action on this
application for the renewal period.
