Certain corrections need to be made to the Library Exchange
Agreements to reflect events occurring and information acquired,
subsequent to their execution. The amendments are minor in nature
and include:
1. An amendment to the legal description of the new library site;
2. An extension of the closing date and those dates on which
certain conditions must be satisfied;
3. An increase in the maximum permitted gross floor area to
65,000 square feet; and
4. An acknowledgement that certain conditions in the Exchange
Agreements are superseded by the Development Agreement.
None of the proposed changes are substantive in nature, but
the Council must give the Mayor and City Clerk authorization to
execute amended documents.
