Please accept my resignation from the City's Aviation Committee;
effective September 30, 1993,
In my five years on the committee I have participated in a great
deal of research, meetings, discussions and public hearings,
and consider it time and effort well spent.
However, at this point, with the committee's activities at a
low level, and my desire to pursue other interests increasing,
it appears appropriate to resign.
Throughout my tenure on the committee we certainly did not win
all of the issues we advised the City Council on, yet I sincerely
believe that during this period the committee, and its individual
members, did make a positive contribution to our city, both
in regard to limiting or moderating JWA's impact upon us and
in providing an increased flow of factual information to the
city's residents.
I appreciate having had the opportunity to serve our city, and
will always favorably remember the many interesting and dedicated
people I was fortunate enough to come in contact with while
involved with the Aviation Committee.
